Ski Trip 2020

Dear Parent(s),
We have met with the group of students going on the Ski Trip this afternoon and are about to place an order for the hoodies. Hopefully, these will arrive in the next couple of weeks – we will give them out to the students during an afternoon AM time. We will let you know via email when this happens. We also spoke to the students to see how they are sorted for technical clothing and accessories.
If your child is not fully sorted from the point of view of their technical clothing/gear and you have not yet been down to Great Western Camping in Dorchester (located in the main high street) to reserve/purchase their hire clothing and/or accessories, please can we ask that you do this as soon as possible. Mark offers a fantastic service down at the shop, has been working with the school for many years and he knows exactly what our requirements are. In addition, the clothing and equipment quality is top notch so you can be reassured that your child will be warm, dry and fully protected. It is important to go to the shop as soon as you can as Mark will need the time to bag everything up for all the students and he will actually deliver everything to the school prior to our departure so that you will not have to go back down to Dorchester to pick the kit up. He will also come to school on arrival back in the UK to collect the clothing & helmet from school.
Mark will supply the hire of (payable at the shop):
Technical Jacket
Technical trousers (salopettes)
Ski Helmet
He will also supply the purchase of an accessory pack (again, payable at the shop) consisting of:
Gloves
Goggles
Ski Socks
Ski tie
Sun cream
If you are able to get to the shop in the next few days, perhaps this weekend, then that would be great as this allows plenty of time for the delivery to be put together.
We are all really looking forward to the trip which is now, not far away.
