Preston School Vision
At Preston School we recognise a core set of values. Inherent in these values is the overriding belief that all students must aspire to succeed in our two core purposes as a school:
- Helping all students to have the communication, interpersonal and leadership skills to be successful in whichever walk of life they choose.
- To ensure all students leave Preston School having maximised their academic potential and gained the best grades possible.
In order to achieve this we…
- Recognise the worth of each individual, by valuing the personal qualities they demonstrate in their learning, living and working.
- Ensure that we commit to ‘Bringing Learning to Life & Life to Learning’ for all students, connecting them with the wider local, national and international communities.
- Embrace difference by valuing diversity in all protected characteristics, including ethnicity, religion, sexuality, special educational need, nationality and race.
- Display integrity, by valuing openness, trust, negotiation, fairness, honesty and respect for all people.
- Foster ambition and independent spirit by valuing each individual’s abilities, aspirations and desire to explore and create. We aim to be GREAT in everything that we do.
- We acknowledge the role of networks by valuing the way in which people can work together and collaborate.
