For the third year running we are holding 3 open evenings at our BAE Systems Yeovil office to show young
people the career opportunities within our business, specifically aimed at years 11-13.
• Tuesday 1gth November 2018 6pm
• Tuesday 28th January 2020 6pm

At our Yeovil office we offer a 4 year Level 6 Honours Degree Apprenticeship in Aerospace Software
Development within the BAF Systems Air Business Unit, joining the scheme after year 13.
Anyone from Year 11 upwards who would like to attend our Open Evenings, due to limited numbers, we
kindly ask you to please reserve a place: www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/BAESystemsOpenEveriing
Due to number restrictions, one guest per student may attend. Teachers and career advisors are also
welcome and they too will be required to reserve a place in advance.
Applications to attend the open evenings need to be received by the Friday before each event, in order to
enter your details into our security system within time.
Photographic ID will be required on arrival at each evening.
Information will also be available on the other Air apprenticeships which are on offer elsewhere in the UK,
primarily at our North West sites at Warton and Samlesbury in Lancashire but the evening’s demonstrations
will be from projects in the Software discipline.
Air Apprenticeships include:
• Advanced Level: Engineering Craft and Technician (Level 3)
• Advanced Level: Business Administration (Level 3)
• Higher Level: Aircraft Maintenance Certifying Engineer (Level 4)
• Degree Level: Project Management (Level 6)
• Degree Level: Aerospace Engineering (Level 6)
• Degree Level: Aerospace Software Development (Level 6) (Veovil)
