Amendment to the start of the new year.
Dear families,
We have had to make an amendment to the published calendar for the start of the new academic year in September. We announced our term dates for next year prior to joining Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership (MNSP) in February and, as a result, we are slightly out of kilter with their calendar which means we need to make a change so that the calendar now looks like this:
| Friday 2nd September 2022 | Staff-only INSET Day (no students in) |
| Monday 5th September 2022 |
Students in Years 7 and 11 in September are in all day Students in Years 8-10 in September will be in from 1-3pm |
| Tuesday 6th September 2022 | All lessons begin for all students, from period 1 |
The change comes about as all secondary school staff from across the trust will have a joint INSET day in September, before the students return. Apologies for any inconvenience that this causes and thank you for your understanding.
