Preston School in Yeovil welcomed into the MNSP
Preston School in Yeovil is the latest school to announce that on the 1st February 2021, they have joined the Midsomer Norton Schools’ Partnership Multi Academy Trust (MAT).
Approved by the Secretary of State for Education, this conversion will allow the School to continue to have control over their day to day operations within the support network offered by the MNSP MAT. The partnership now includes 10 secondary schools, 17 primary schools and Critchill All Through School; these schools are all located across BANES, Somerset and North Somerset Local Authorities.
Gregg Morrison, Headteacher of Preston School, Yeovil commented “We are delighted to join this highly successful multi academy trust and we are very much looking forward to working more closely with our partner secondary schools across the trust to ensure that all students have access to high quality education. Joining the trust will enable our staff to work closely with colleagues in other schools to share and further develop good practice. This will undoubtedly benefit not only our students here at Preston, but all students in the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership.”
MAT CEO and Executive Headteacher Alun Williams said: “I am extremely pleased Preston School has decided to join the Midsomer Norton Schools’ Partnership. I really look forward to working with the staff and children at the school, as do all those colleagues and children who are already part of the Midsomer Norton Schools’ Partnership”.
