Covid regulations in schools from tomorrow
Dear families,
I am writing regarding the changes in the Covid regulations in schools from tomorrow, Thursday 27th January 2022.
From tomorrow the government have given students and school staff the freedom to choose whether to wear a face covering in communal areas of the school. This follows the same decision regarding face coverings in classrooms last week. Interestingly we still have approx. 50% of students still wearing a covering in classroom lessons. So, from tomorrow face coverings will not be mandatory in any area of the school but students and staff may wear them if they would like to.
This currently works with our school risk assessment on Covid as we have very few live cases. If this situation changes and our risk assessment dictates that we need to make changes to our way of working.
