We appreciate your support
Dear families,
Just a brief email to say thank you for working with us over these last few testing months and also this week as we have managed the gradual opening of all of the year groups. It has been a long, busy and tiring week for students and staff but I am very proud of our school community and the way that everyone has worked together. The students have been fantastic and a credit to all of us. They have taken testing in their stride, we have done over 1500 tests across the week, as well as settling back in to their face-to-face lessons well.
Thanks also for your understanding on the moving of the INSET day from Thursday 1st April to Friday 28th May, to support the moderation of work for our Year 11 students.
A reminder that homework starts again next week so students should be completing their Knowledge Builders and any subject-set homework from Monday afternoon. This will then be checked, along with equipment, each morning in AM time. We are hoping to be able to run after-school activities after the Easter break, but will follow the government guidance on this and let you know in due course.
Have a lovely weekend and thanks once again for your ongoing support.
Best wishes
Gregg Morrison
