Your Geography Department Needs You!!

All year groups can get involved.
The Geography department is looking for students in all years to assist in a fabulous new project during this lockdown- that will help with the teaching and sharing of Geography all across our school community!
We are looking for students to help create a Preston School World Atlas; with facts, maps, information and flags about EVERY country in the world! All 197 of them!
Our aim is to have as many students take part as possible by choosing one (or more!) countries and creating an A4 page about that country! We are also looking for some GCSE (Year 10 and 11) Geographers to help edit the book.
Once it’s all done the book will be printed and copies placed in every Geography classroom in the school- for students present and future to use!
If you wish to take part, please click the link below which will take you to a spreadsheet. Type your name onto the spreadsheet next to the country/countries that you wish to do. Mr Cullingford will then be in touch to give you more information. If you wish to help edit it, please can you pass your name to your Geography teacher directly!
