Dear Parent/Carer,

Transition to Secondary Education

I hope that you and your families are well during this strange and unique time. Normally, we would have welcomed your child to Preston for one of our ‘Year 5 Step Up Days’ over the last few weeks and I am sorry that we haven’t been able to do this. We are conscious that as parents you will want to get all of the information you can about all of the secondary schools that you are considering for your child(ren), and we will find new ways to do this for you 

As it will soon be time for you to consider your child’s transition to secondary education, we very much hope that you will consider Preston School as your first choice. You will find a range of information about the school, and the variety of experiences that we offer our students, plus a digital version of our school prospectus on our website www.prestonschool.co.uk and/or by engaging with us on Facebook &/or Twitter.

Preston School rightly has an excellent local and national reputation, with parents of new students’ joining the school citing the following reasons for their choosing us:

This is an exciting time for the development of Preston School as we work towards being a GREAT school, and we would like to share the school that we are all very proud of with you. Our Open Day & Evening is currently scheduled for Thursday 24th September 2020, although we aren’t currently sure whether the Open Days will go ahead in the normal way this year. Please keep checking our website and social media channels for more details nearer the time.
